When asked to create a brand for Special Educational Needs and Disability we were keen avoid designing anything that felt too clinical and corporate.
Our approach was to start with a pencil rather than a mouse; sketch some fairly abstract doodles that could be interpreted as pathways in the mind, thoughts, emotions, feelings etc.
Once we had the basic image, vibrant colours added energy to the design, reflecting the myriad of tasks that the mind contends with.
This design is meant to be as fluid as possible with colours and scale constantly shifting and adapting to its surroundings.
Our client loved the results, saying everyone involved was ‘super positive’ about the design.
