Katy and Kayleigh asked us to help create their brand that is aimed at the lesbian community in Manchester.
Their wonderful name and spelling [the double ‘K’] was a gift to us graphic designers; the logo almost designed itself! Our job was to not add too much.
We flipped one of the ‘K’s, and interlocked them, reinforcing the partnership angle of the venture and providing a neat icon that could stand alone.
The enthusiasm and excitement that the girls have for the project means that the branding is free and fluid, evolving and adapting to keep Dykke fresh and energetic.
