Jess & Billy

We delivered a fashion branding project aimed at 12 to 16 year olds; kids who want an alternative to the brash, branded, urban style.

Instead of clashing colours and large ‘edgy’ type etc. this new range would be relatively quiet and understated - quality designs using a more natural palette… all the energy of youth, but with less attitude.

12 to 16 is a period of immense growth and development so we figured a tree would be a good symbol of growth and fits well with the outdoor lifestyle the brand would like to promote.

Our simplified tree icon is bearing fruit [the 2 white circles] to represent realised potential, and ‘Jess’ & ‘Billy’.

A mixture of strong shapes and soft colours keep the typeface and overall design relaxed and gender neutral.
