With an already prestige brand with heritage we helped with a refresh of their crest and colours to modernise it in 2013. Silver Birch bought brand consistency and implemented guidelines so that the team within Derby High School could manage their marketing materials. Whilst we continued to support on a day to day basis with advertising campaigns prospectuses, signage and newsletters. A few years later we then updated the school website to simplify the user experience and make the site fully responsive for mobile use.
When the call came to help with a brand refresh we were really pleased to assist. The deadline was very tight but not an issue for the Birch! We created a style and theme that would work consistently throughout the marketing material. We added dynamic graphical elements combined with the strength of the corporate colours to elevate the work.
What was even more important in the marketing literature we produced this year was getting across the message of the school being co-educational from pre-school to sixth form. Boys were welcomed into the senior school for the first time in September 2019 and it was essential we reflected the mix in the new prospectuses with images and content to support this exciting new development.
Amy Chapman, Derby High’s head, said this about working with us “Silver Birch were a pleasure to work with throughout our rebranding process. In an incredibly short period of time, they produced top quality materials, on time and on budget. They fully understood the education market and supported us to make the right decisions about the most important aspects of our recruitment campaign this Autumn. The whole team at Silver Birch were very professional and incredibly helpful at every stage.”
Today we’d like to congratulate the school for being in the top 10 Independent School league table by the Sunday Times. This makes them the top independent school in Derbyshire, congratulations to Amy and her team for this fantastic achievement.
