ROTHERHAM UNITED - KIT LAUNCH
The Millers have been upping their game on and off the pitch over the past few years and should not be underestimated.
They deserve a lot of credit for what they have achieved. Their football and results at the end of last season were not short of promotion form. They have a fantastic new stadium which we like to call the mini Emirates and gives an excellent spectator experience due to the way the stadium is structured.
As part of our ongoing creative support, Silver Birch Creative have helped championship side Rotherham Utd launch their new kits for 2016/17 season.
The whole campaign was managed and created by SBC. The basis of the project included a half day photo shoot at the New York Stadium where we utilised the photographic skills of Mark Averill along with art direction from our very own creative director & MD Karl Shaw. We took a variety of images from your clean cut editorial poses to your more gritty and mood based shots providing a great selection for any use. There were three kits in total, Home, Away and third, with the main focus on the Home and Away.
The campaign graphics, adverts and animated GIFs were mainly created for use on social media, but have the versatility to be used in other situations. Point of sale and large window graphics were designed for the clubs official retail shop and concourses. Consistency of the campaign style was maintained across all platforms in the different sizes and proportions for maximum visual output. The campaigns were teased out one by one over several weeks and the reaction to the campaign style has been great. No matter how big a club and the money they have, every fan from around the country have the same ambitions. They love their club and wear their colours with pride.
