Brand new US role for city designers

A DERBY design agency has been selected to produce the promotional literature for an American soccer tournament.
Silver Birch Creative, in Belper Road, has been selected by the World Series of Football to produce the branding for the New York Football Challenge on July 22-25.
The event will see Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur take on Portuguese side Sporting Clube de Portugal and the tournament’s hosts, the New York Red Bulls.
Silver Birch will design the tournament logo, tickets, press backdrops and pitch-side banners and managing director Karl Shaw said: “I am delighted that we have been selected to produce the brand portfolio for such a prestigious event. “We are very proud to be given the opportunity to put Derby on a global stage.”
